The Catered Table Restaurant was founded on a sincere desire to bring the community together, in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Distinctive and sumptuous creations abound, featuring the finest selections of Seafood, Steaks, Pasta, Homemade Desserts, Fine World Beers and an International selection of the finest wines. Casual dining, with delectable fare.

Philip Marcus, Head Chef

In 2013, after a lifetime watching his parents cook, Philip joined the family business, with an undergraduate degree from the prestigious Cornish School of Arts in Seattle. He obtained his Masters in Art from the University of Montana.

A natural cook with a  passion to create art on the plate, Philip has brought a new dimension to the menu.

Philip and his trusty companion, Riley, spend every second they can in the great outdoors.

Kathy and Rich Marcus, Owners/Managers

Chicago natives, Rich and Kathy Marcus, first visited the Bitterroot Valley during a camping trip after college in 1970. The beautiful mountains surrounding the valley and the amiable people so greatly appealed to them, they moved their family to the Bitterroot Valley, in the mid 1980’s.

Always in search of a new venture, they bought a building in Stevensville; starting several small businesses including, “The Catered Table.”

With great affection, Former Head Chef Rich Marcus states “I can’t do this without my Wife, who is my best friend and loving partner. Though she never had formal cooking lessons, her passion for cooking makes her my equal in the kitchen.”
